John M. Schopfer

With 25 years experience in resort real estate throughout the USA, Mexico and Canada, Hawaii, Europe, the Mediterranean and Africa, Schopfer has worked with many outstanding resort related real estate companies as well as hundreds of individual resort projects.  His broad experience encompasses products representing the best of timeshare, vacation clubs, private residence clubs, whole-owned villas and high-end private golf. His focus in the high-end and luxury markets began in 1998 when he founded Resort Capital Resources, Inc. and later CLUBworks International. These resort development services firms specialized in product development, financing, project start-up and the marketing and sales of high-end resort real estate and private clubs. Schopfer has been an active industry speaker and leader in ARDA (American Resort Development Association) as a Chairman League member and Trustee.  Simplicity International is currently an ARDA Trustee Company.

R. Jude Carrillo

Jude has nearly 25 years of resort real estate and vacation ownership experience in the United States, Asia, Mexico and Canada. Mr. Carrillo enjoys a broad business experience from management at the project level to executive oversight in all areas of development with an emphasis on marketing and sales strategies in private residence clubs and wholly-owned resort products. Carrillo was EVP, Sales and Marketing for Club Intrawest; VP, Sales and Marketing for Star Resorts and held senior management positions with Vacation International, Trendwest Resorts and other notable vacation ownership companies.

Alex Hugessen
Director of Sales

Alex joins Simplicity directly from Playground Real Estate, the renowned resort sales arm of Intrawest, the leading resort development company in North America, bringing a track record of over 10 years of experience in luxury and high-end pre-construction real estate sales.  Alex worked on the initial “Storied Places” offering on the slopes of Whistler Mountain in British Columbia, as well as The Lodge at Suncadia, a $70M offering near Seattle, Washington.  Most recently, Alex led the Playground Whistler sales team in the sellout of the second phase of the ‘Evolution’ project in Whistler’s Creekside community.
